Lighthouse International Christian Academy was launched in the fall of 2024 by four Sarasota families representing eight students in grades K-6. Their mission was: Create a Bible-based, principle-approach school with traditional values and rigorous academic standards in a nurturing, creative, Christ-centered environment.
LICA borrows from and integrates best practice educational approaches from a number of respected Christian curricula. LICA emphasizes the basics, including reading, phonics, critical thinking, math and science problem-solving, Bible study, history, geography, but also exposes our students to music, modern foreign language, world cultures, and more.
Our objective is to equip LICA graduates with a comprehensive foundation, empowering them to serve Christ in all aspects of their lives—whether through advanced education, professional careers, entrepreneurship, self-employment, global missions, or family life.

Lighthouse International Christian Academy, Incorporated is a C-corporation registered in the state of Florida. 501(c)(3) non profit charitable corporation status has been applied for with the IRS.
